27/09/05 - Chris Mear and Mark Garrett  came from 4 down to win the HHDUGC Scratch Foursomes against West End around their home course at the weekend.

Toby Garrett and James Thompson made it a double for Meltham by winning the Junior version. 

Outlane, represented by David Petts and Stephen Osbourne landed the Handicap event.

18/09/05 - Ben Crowther was today crowned the HHDUGC Individual Matchplay Champion. 

In a close final against Graham McLean, from Meltham, which ebbed and flowed the 6' 8" two handicapper from Dewsbury District Golf Club finally edged the match 1up at Woodsome Hall Golf Club.

Crowther had seen off the challenge of immediate past President of the union Chris Mear in the Quarter Final and then Woodsome Hall's Matthew Broadbent in yesterday's semi-finals.

14/08/05 - Chris Hanson, the Pre-Tournament favourite claimed the HHDUGC Strokeplay Championship by just one shot at Dewsbury District Golf Club.

It was the first time a Crosland Heath player had lifted the trophy as the Yorkshire County player posted a six under 136 total.
