Although
only short, the moorland course at Ryburn Golf Club is
a fine test of character and ability for any golfer.
The more discerning player will be disappointed at its
length - 5127 yards - but they will be appeased by the
challenges that lie in wait. It is a hilly course that
has sat just a mile north of Sowerby Bridge since
1910, and offers nine holes that can be played as an
eighteen-hole, for which a par of 66 is offered.
