The Head Professional at Woodsome Hall since joining from Crosland Heath in March 2008 and a fully qualified AA PGA Professional. John has been teaching for 16 years, and not only teaches at club level but is the Head coach for Halifax/Huddersfield District Union Men and Junior teams.

Peter was born in Huddersfield and grew up with golf from an early age. He original strated playing at Outlane then at Crosland Heath. He joined the P.G.A. in 1963 spending the first six months as an assistant at Crosland Heath Golf Club.  He then moved to Woodsome Hall Golf Club serving an apprenticeship under Charles Hughes. 

Six years on he took over his first Club Professionals job at Silkstone Golf Club Barnsley, where after 3 and a half years he made the move to his present position as P.G.A. Professional at Bradley Hall Golf Club.
