"For a moorland course it is a very good test of golf and the weather can make it interesting too. Best hole 17th, most testing 8th, greens good, food excellent hospitality usual friendly Yorkshire welcome."

"Very close to the M62 and can get a bit noisy on the first few holes! I really like the holes where you must hit over the valley and the 8th is a very very difficult par 3, you need to hit driver here.
"The greens are usually in good condition and the food in the bar is top notch"
