Meltham Golf Club - Course Review

Take me to another course review:

19/01/2005 by Mr. C Morrison (7)

"This course is quickly gaining recognition as one of the leading courses in the area. The condition and quality of the greens is going along way to validate this.

A mixture of good tough holes and some which can yield birdies Meltham has a good mix"

Difficulty  7/10
Condition  8/10
Clubhouse  8/10
Average  8/10

"If you can play sloping lies you will be ok here at Meltham! First class greens and a couple of holes spoil what otherwise is a brilliant course"

Course (General)  7/10

Condition  9/10
Clubhouse  8/10
Average  8/10

"Meltham is a course with many hidden delights. Firstly the condition of the greens are always excellent, fast and firm, almost links like. There are some beautifully scenic holes, the par 3 third into the corner, the 13th along the side of the water and the 17th across the valley.

The course offers chances of birdies and pars but there are also a couple of holes to keep you on your toes - the 4th and 15th to name just two. Superb course with a nice atmosphere too."

Course (General)  8/10
Difficulty  6/10
Condition  8/10
Clubhouse  9/10

"Challenging course with a variety of holes and some really good par 3's, the 17th hole is a real test and usually plays a fairway wood. I also like the 13th hole alongside the lake with a tiny green. Nice clubhouse and never played it in poor condition even in winter."

Course (General)  9/10
