"Very strange course, located near a rough area and chavs walking through during rounds played there in junior match and yobs were playing football across 8th fairway, greens not brilliant and hard walking up the hills."

Condition  3/10
Clubhouse  7/10

"Quite an easy course, went round in -1 par, and the greens were poor and some were flooded, not a pleasant club house either, quite dark and dingy, wouldn't recommend it."

Course (General)  2/10
Difficulty  2/10
Condition  4/10
Clubhouse  3/10

"I think it is a great course, it has a good layout but it has a few silly blind holes like 5,6,7, and i think it is in great perfect condition from tee to green, the greens weren't perfect though, and there are gangs which congregate at the 6 green. The only thing that lets it down is a poor clubhouse and no Putting Green."

Course (General)  8/10
Difficulty  6/10
Condition  9/10
Clubhouse  5/10
Average  7/10

"Played this course a few times and gets better each time I play it, a definite challenge as there is out of bounds on nearly every hole. Friendly clubhouse but is a bit dark inside and could do with updating. A little gem"

"Played twice during a recent holiday, always enjoy the course and always made very welcome. Still need to nail a par on the 5th/14th, but will return to try."

"Great course if you are new to the game, I play here lots and find it very challenging although I can imagine somebody with a single figure handicap might find it too easy.

I like the par 3's here because they are all different, some you can see the entire green and others are blind shots.

Good condition for most of the year but can get wet in the winter."

"Perfect track for a quick nine holes after work, located close to Huddersfield town centre but once there you feel as if you are in the middle of the countryside.

Some interesting holes and different tees make this 9-holer interesting all the way, especially as some of the hole change par for each time. definite recommendation."

Course (General)  9/10

Condition  6/10
Clubhouse  6/10

14/03/2005 by Mr. N Iverson (18)

"Very handy for a game after working in the town centre as it is less than half a mile from the centre. Only nine holes but still a challenge."

Course (General)  6/10
Difficulty  5/10
Condition  6/10
Clubhouse  5/10
Average  6/10
