"A tough test of golf which is particularly unforgiving to the stray shot. I have the impression that the course is largely left to look after itself but would benefit from visual improvements and care to the course."

"It is the second time I have played this course and was very impressed by the way we were made to feel welcome. The course was in excellent condition and was a pleasure to play. If you have not played here before I recommend a course planner as it is very difficult to know where you are going."

"A real moorland links in the heart of West Yorkshire, this is a true test of your ability and resolve. The weather has a big influence on how you play every hole as one minute it can be sunny and still and the next it can be raining and blowing a force nine into your face. The course is well maintained and the greens exceptional. The signature 17th hole is a talking point for all golfers in the local area. If you have not yet taken the plunge and played the ‘Ogden Links’ then please do as soon as you can and join the many of us who just say WOW!"

"Moorland golf at its very best. I love this course as it is a real test of golf. The views are stunning and far fetching but the design and quality the holes are what I like the best.

"There are holes where burns and ravines  play an integral part and the greens are always slick and true. The clubhouse is traditional and the welcome fantastic"

Course (General)  9/10
Difficulty  7/10
Condition  8/10
Clubhouse  8/10
