These include open competitions and events hosted by local golf clubs as well as events run and organised by official bodies including the Halifax, Huddersfield and District Union of Golf Clubs (HHDUGC), the Yorkshire Union of Golf Clubs (YUGC) and the English Golf Union (EGU).
Most events listed are Individual Strokeplay competitions where the golfer must be under a certain age, usually 18 or in some cases 21.
